The ARS Management


Coy Beaman has been in the railway automation business for over 37 years. His railway career started with the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1980, working in the Signal Department, where he was trained in all facets of railway automation. In 1993, Coy went to work for a railway installation and construction company as a sales engineer and state liaison manager. In 1995, he was hired by General Railway Signal as a sales engineer. In 1998 he co-founded RailComm, Inc., a railway software control company still providing software to the industry. In 2003 he co-founded Global Rail Systems, Inc., a railway automation and robotic manufacturer. Since 2013 he has been developing new disruptive technology for wind energy and railway industries. Coy holds several patents for inventions related to railway safety critical devices, and ARS is continuously applying for new patents related to hydraulic switch machines.


Dilson Santos Rodrigues is Vice President of Engineering for ARS. He has been with Coy since 2002, first as the President of Global Rail Systems do Brasil, the first international subsidiary of Global Rail Systems, Inc. Later, in 2007, Dilson joined Coy in the USA along with his family and filled the position as Vice President of Mechanical Engineering for GRS. He has an MBA and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Saõ Paulo University, and over 35 years of industrial experience. While in this position, he was instrumental in developing unique advanced automation products of which we were able to patent and generate value for the company. He developed many products on behalf of customer requests, which have been commercialized, but not patented. He is customer-focused and understands how to provide valuable solutions to meet their needs.
